What To Expect : 30-60 Days
During this point of your orientation, you should understand the importance of our mission in your day-to-day work environment. We trust you will be learning and supporting what is most important for the success of our organization and are satisfied with your decision to join Summa Health System.
We encourage you to begin thinking and sharing feedback about your experience at Summa, offering suggestions on areas of improvements, and contributing new ideas that may strengthen our work environment. What we expect from you: • Visit the Summa@Work website - our employee intranet site In addition, managers are expected to: • Round with Clients to Establish Priorities • Schedule Core Curriculum through The Leadership Institute What you can expect from Summa: Summa is committed to providing employees with learning opportunities that enable them to bring our mission, vision and values to life each and every day. We encourage you to begin learning more about these opportunities. The Learning Center, located on the Akron City Campus, with satellite locations at Front Street and SummaCare, offers high quality, diverse coursework in a non-traditional training setting. The Center provides employees with a learning/study environment that is computer based with an independent study approach. To learn more, call the Learning Center at 330-375-4834. The Leadership Institute Summa recognizes that for our organization to remain successful, we must identify and educate all leaders. The Leadership Institute’s course curriculum is designed to meet the needs of current leaders and managers as well as develop the future leaders within the organization.
